BWL Chili Cook-Off is a huge success!

Lansing 's riverfront was the place to be on Friday, June 22. The 12 th Annual BWL Chili Cook-Off was attended by approximately 9,000 people. 40 different types of chili from 35 restaurants, music, ice cream, and libations were available for those in attendance.

The event raised more than $35,000 - a new record. Proceeds will support the HOPE Scholarship Connections Program, Impression 5 Science Center, and Adopt A River.

A special thank you is extended to the Hometown People, approximately 150 BWL employees, retirees, and customers who volunteered for this event. The event was a success because the volunteers made it a success!
