The Lansing Board of Water & Light is experiencing widespread outages throughout its service territory due to the strong and gusty winds. Outside crews have been called in to help with restoration efforts. Visit the outage map [www.lbwl.com/outagecenter] for restoration times. As of 1:40pm, there are 3,962 customers without power. The BWL regrets any inconvenience to customers caused by this outage.

Please stay at least 25 feet from downed lines. Intersections with traffic signals out should be treated as 4-way stops.

Customers who have experienced a single service outage due to mast damage are responsible to have repairs done before the BWL is able to restore power. Customers may use any of the BWL approved electrical contractors to have repairs made and payments financed interest free for 12 months.
