ATTENTION CREDIT CARD AND ELECTRONIC BANK DRAFT USERS
Effective July 1, 2008, The Lansing Board of Water and Light will no longer directly accept, non-enrolled, credit/debit card or electronic bank draft transactions. If you have enrolled your credit card or banking information so your bills are automatically paid, this change will not effect your enrollment. Enrolled transactions will continue to be free. The BWL will arrange for EDS, a third-party payment processor, to accept one-time credit/debit card and electronic bank draft payments. EDS ePay charges a convenience fee for credit/debit card and electronic bank draft payments. The following cards will be accepted for payment by EDS: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. The BWL Customer Service Center , located at 1232 Haco Drive , will no longer be able to accept credit card payments at the Drive-Through or Walk-Up Windows. A new ATM has been installed to obtain cash advances from any credit card as well as a “hot line” phone that will directly connect to EDS to make any credit card transactions over the phone.
