With eBill Presentment and Payment service you can ...

• receive e-mail notices alerting you that your bill is ready for viewing
• schedule recurring or advance payments
• view your payment history up to six months

The Lansing Board of Water and Light has partnered with CheckFree Corporation, a leader in online billing, to provide you with electronic bill delivery and payment options at no cost to you. Once you sign up for LBWL’s eBill Presentment (online bill delivery service), you’ll receive one final LBWL paper bill and then only electronic notices telling you when your utility bills are ready. Each month, you’ll receive an e-mail message alerting you that your bill is available for viewing. Even if you elect not to pay your bills online, you can still sign up for eBill Presentment service to view your LBWL bills electronically.

However, signing up for LBWL eBill Presentment and Payment service also gives you a host of payment features offered by CheckFree, including fast, convenient bill payment online. When you sign up to pay your Lansing Board of Water and Light bill online, you’ll be enrolling in the CheckFree Universal Payment Network, with its ability to securely “click to pay” all your electronic bills (eBills) anywhere you see the red CheckFree button. You can choose bank deductions scheduled up to a year in advance or pay automatically each month. You can also pay by credit card.

• To signup, you will need your LBWL 10-digit account number, the Biller Zip Code, which is 48901-3007 for the Lansing Board of Water and Light, and a valid e-mail address. You will also need the bank account number from which your payments will be deducted or a credit card number, if paying online.
  
  
• To use this service your browser must be capable of 128-bit encryption. This includes current versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer that are licensed for use in the United States.
