The Governmental Affairs offices of the Board
of Water and Light was developed to enhance government relations,
business retention and economic development throughout the
Lansing region by:
- Establishing and maintaining business and
government interaction
- Promoting and supporting regional cooperation
- Advising regional leaders on utility related
issues
- Advising regional leaders on legislative
issues
- Improving government efficiency and effectiveness
- Establishing and maintaining long-term
relationships with business and government
