Are you 65 year of age or older?  If so, please contact the BWL to let us know.  The BWL has put into place special shut off protection rules for seniors.  These rules will protect seniors from having their electric service shut off during the winter heating season (Nov 1 – Mar 31) and during critical cooling days (where temps are forecast to be 95 degrees or warmer).  Seniors will also receive additional follow up in the event a shut off were to occur outside of the preceding parameters.  You can let us know you are a senior citizen by completeing the form (on the right), calling (517) 702-6006 or emailing us at  custservice@lbwl.com.
