Lane closure scheduled this weekend on southbound U.S. 127

Ongoing streetlight repairs will close one lane of southbound U.S. 127 between Lake Lansing Road and the Kalamazoo Street overpass this weekend, April 5-6.

Crews from the Lansing Board of Water & Light will perform lighting repairs between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Repair work is weather-dependent. Inclement weather may cause the work to be postponed.

The work is part of an overall repair effort on Interstate 496 and U.S. 127.
