Dr. Dean Sienko will join citizens panel

     General Manager J. Peter Lark today announced that Dr. Dean Sienko, Director of the Ingham County Health Department, has joined a distinguished panel of Lansing-area citizens to review the Lansing Board of Water & Light’s Comprehensive Energy Plan.
     “Dr. Sienko is one of Michigan’s most highly respected health experts, and I am delighted he has agreed to serve on the Citizens Advisory Panel on New Generation,” Lark said.
     Frank J. Kelley, the panel’s co-chair, welcomed Sienko to the group. “I applaud Mr. Lark’s suggestion of appointing a health expert to the panel. I can think of no one more qualified than Dr. Sienko,” Kelley said.
      Dr. Sienko has been Ingham County’s medical director since 1988. He also serves as Ingham County’s Health Officer.
      Dr. Sienko will join the panel for its next meeting, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Thursday September 18 in the Lansing Center. The actual meeting room will be announced at a later date.
      All meetings of the citizens advisory panel are open to the public.
