Band Day
On Thursday, June 19th , 9:00 am, at the Lansing Board of Water & Light Eckert Station, 601 Island Avenue, Dr. James Sikarskie of Michigan State University College of Veterinarian and Earl Flegler, a biologist with the Michigan Department Natural Resources, will band the peregrine chicks.
Dina Maneval, Lansing Board of Water & Light employee and Earl Flegler, will access the nesting box through a roof window and then take peregrine chicks into a conference room for banding and physical check-up. Within the hour the peregrine chicks will be returned to their nest.
