BWL names Whitney M. Ezis the utility’s Associate Attorney

Lansing Board of Water & Light General Manager J. Peter Lark today announced the appointment of Whitney M. Ezis as the BWL’s new Associate Attorney.

“We welcome Ms. Ezis to the BWL team, and I look forward to working with her on various legal projects,” Lark said. “I am confident Ms. Ezis will strengthen our legal department. Her litigation and transactional skills are highly valued and will demonstrate immediate gains for our operations.”

Ezis succeeds Brandie Ekren, who was named the BWL’s General Counsel in February of 2008.

Previously, Ezis practiced litigation and transactional work with a Lansing-area law firm. An Ohio native, Ezis received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University. She is a 2006 graduate of Lansing’s Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Ezis is a resident of DeWitt.
