J. Peter Lark, Mayor Bernero to launch 3rd annual Toys for Tots Challenge
Lansing Board of Water & Light General Manager J. Peter Lark and Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero will kick off the annual Toys for Tots Challenge in downtown Lansing.
When: Noon, Thursday, November 20.
Where: Corner of Washington Avenue and Ottawa Street.
Who: Mr. Lark, Mayor Bernero, representatives of the U.S. Marine Corps.
What: 3rd annual Toys for Tots Challenge, pitting BWL employees against City of Lansing employees.
Goal: To see which group can collect the most toys for area children this holiday season.
Setting: The BWL Toy Mill, the collection point for toys during Friday’s Silver Bells in the City.
Also: A children’s choir will entertain with holiday music.
