Lansing home will be the ‘launchpad’ for BWL’s Hometown Energy SaversSM program

WHO: J. Peter Lark, General Manager, Lansing Board of Water & Light, Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero, and Orjiakor Isiogu, Chairman of the Michigan Public Service Commission.

WHAT: The official launching of Hometown Energy Savers sm - a series of programs to save thousands of BWL customers money on their utility bills. Mr. Lark and Mayor Bernero will hand a $25 check to a Lansing resident while a crew hauls away an old, energy-wasting refrigerator from the garage – free of charge.

Other details: More energy-saving initiatives will be announced to save residential and business customers money on their energy bills.
