BWL offices will be closed for furlough days

Due to employee furloughs, the Lansing Board of Water & Light will close its offices on Wednesday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Jan. 4, 2010.

The closings affect the BWL’s Customer Service Department. The Customer Service Department and Payment Center will be closed Dec. 23-27 and will resume operations on Dec. 28.

For the New Year’s Day holiday period, the Customer Service Department and Payment Center will be closed Dec. 31-Jan. 4, and will resume operations on Jan. 5.

The BWL’s emergency phone number will remain in operation during furlough days. For a power outage, loss of water or steam service or any emergency in connection with BWL services, call our toll-free phone number: 1-877-BWL-5001.
