On Thursday, June 18th, 11:30 am, at the Lansing Board of Water & Light Eckert Station, 601 Island Avenue, (Conference Room A), Dr. James Sikarskie of Michigan State University College of Veterinarian; Earl Flegler, a biologist with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources; and Lori Sargent, of the Michigan Department Natural of Resources Wildlife Division, will band the peregrine chicks.
Dina Maneval, Lansing Board of Water & Light employee, and Earl Flegler will access the nesting box through a roof window and then take peregrine chicks into a conference room for banding and physical check-up. Within the hour the peregrine chicks will be returned to their nest.
