BWL will dedicate new, energy-efficient Chilled
Water Plant in downtown Lansing

WHAT: Dedication of the Roy E. Peffley Chilled Water Plant, serving the
State of Michigan, the Ingham County Courts building and the
Accident Fund. The new plant is 60
percent more energy efficient than the recently decommissioned
chilled water plant in the former Ottawa Power Station.
Other details: The $20 million project comes in under-budget, and is the
BWL’s largest construction project in nearly 40 years.

DIRECTIONS: Take eastbound Allegan Street from Martin Luther King
Jr. Boulevard. Proceed west and turn right in the drive
marked “BWL dedication.” Lot parking is available.
