BWL’s 125-year timeline on display
at Lansing City Hall
A photographic timeline of the Lansing Board of Water & Light’s 125-year history is on display today through May 27 in the first floor lobby of
Lansing City Hall, downtown Lansing.
The timeline was originally created from archival photos for the BWL’s
125th anniversary open house last February. The BWL was officially created
by City of Lansing ordinance on Feb. 16, 1885.
The photographic display is open to public viewing from 7 a.m. to 6
p.m., Monday through Friday.
On June 4, the timeline will be moved to Lansing’s Adado Riverfront
Park for display as part of the BWL’s 15th annual Chili Cook-off. For Chili
Cook-off details, visit our website, www.lbwl.com.
