BWL will unveil 125-year-old founding document
at February 16th anniversary open house

WHAT: Unveiling of the Feb. 16, 1885 document that founded the
Lansing Water Board, forerunner of the Lansing
Board of Water & Light. Also: Proclamations honoring the BWL
from the City of Lansing and State of Michigan.
OTHER DETAILS: Historic photos and artifacts from the BWL’s past;
special commemorative ice cream, Hometown Hugs, created by
Melting Moments Ice Cream of Lansing. Free refreshments; open
to the public.
WHEN: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16.
