BWL Conducts Planned Transmission Line Work Along I-96/I-69 Interchange

A Lansing Board of Water & Light contractor will be performing work adjacent to I-69 on power transmission lines to support the Ultium Battery Plant being constructed in Delta Township. Motorist traveling on I-69 on Wednesday, January 24 between Lansing Rd. and the I-96/I-69 interchange should be aware of intermittent traffic delays. 

To safely execute this work, beginning at 9am the Michigan State Police will assist in four stops of highway traffic in both directions throughout the day for approximately 15 minutes each. Drivers should prepare for brief traffic delays.

The work is expected to be complete by Wednesday, January 24 at 3pm.
