Pugh joined the Lansing Board of Water & Light in 2018. As a Government & Community Relations Manager, she serves as the community liaison for BWL to the community, neighborhoods, and local government. She also coordinates BWL’s community sponsorship program, employee volunteerism, and internal/external events. In 2024, Pugh was appointed to lead the General Manager's initiative to advocate for BWL in community and public proceedings.
Prior to joining BWL, she served as the Community Relations Coordinator at Granger Waste Services. Breina is an active member of the community serving on several boards including Capital Area Humane Society, ATHENA WIN and the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. Breina lives in Lansing with her husband and two cats.
