Become a Peak Power Partner Today

Keep a little change in your pocket this summer season and consider joining BWL’s Peak Power Partner (PPP) Demand Response Program. A demand response program allows you to save energy and money while reducing strain on the grid during times of high demand.
After successfully enrolling in the program, on a day BWL calls an energy event, your thermostat will start by precooling your home, then increase by four degrees for a period no longer than four hours and then return to your preferred temperature set point. This change will happen automatically for effortless savings and ease of mind. Energy events are only called on weekdays when costs are high, and you’ll always be notified of an energy event 24 hours before it takes place.
To participate in the Peak Power Partner Program, you must:
Be a BWL residential electric customer in good standing.
Have a central A/C connected to your smart thermostat(s).
Have an eligible Wi-Fi enabled smart thermostat in your home.
