BWL to Celebrate 26th Annual Adopt A River on Saturday

The Lansing Board of Water & Light and Impression 5 Science Center will celebrate the 26th annual Adopt A River event tomorrow, Saturday, May 11 at Impression 5 Science Center, 200 Museum Drive in Lansing. This year’s event theme will celebrate “Power to the Pollinators.”

East Lansing Solar Park Becomes Operational

The Lansing Board of Water & Light, in partnership with Michigan Energy Options and Pivot Energy, celebrated the opening of East Lansing Solar Park today, located on Burcham Dr. in East Lansing. The park, which became operational on December 28, 2018, has 1,000 solar panels that will produce 430,000 kWh annually, enough to power around 60 homes.

Oct. 11, 2018 – JACKSON, MI -- DTE Energy, Consumers Energy, the Lansing Board of Water & Light (BWL) and all members of the Michigan Energy Workforce Development Consortium (MEWDC) are taking steps to attract the next generation of talent, using Careers in Energy Week, Oct. 15-19, to let Michigan students and adults know about professional opportunities in the energy industry all over the state.
